How to reach GUS at the Fraunhofer-ICT (PDF)

Approach by car:

From direction Frankfurt or Basel:
Approaching from Frankfurt/Main or Basle (Switzerland): exit motorway A5 at Karlsruhe-Durlach, onto B10 main road in the direction of Pforzheim as far as Pfinztal-Berghausen, then onto B293 in the direction of Bretten, after the railway underpass turn left and follow the signs to the ICT.

From direction Stuttgart/München:
From Stuttgart or Munich, leave A8 motorway at Pforzheim-West exit, onto B10 main road in the direction of Karlsruhe as far as Pfinztal-Berghausen, then onto B293 in the direction of Bretten, after the railway underpass turn left and follow the signs to the ICT.

Approach by metropolitan railway:

From Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof (main station), take S4 local train in the direction of Bretten (trains every 20 or 40 minutes) as far as Berghausen-Hummelberg station (25-minute journey), then 10 minutes on foot or Institute car by arrangement;  from Karlsruhe-Hauptbahnhof to Institute by taxi approx. 20 minutes. Advice: Walking distance from train stopp Hummelberg (S4) to ICT 800 m, alternative distance to train stopp Bahnhof Berghausen (S5) to ICT 1.500 m. (S5 drives every 10 minutes during the day).
